Sweater (most comfortable one I own, hands down)

Hope you all are having a wonderful week and are staying safe and well. We are two…three…I’ve lost count…weeks into this whole working from home “new normal.” It’s had its ups and downs, but we are so thankful to be able to do it. Please know that all of you are in our prayers right now. We’re in it together, friends!

One thing I’ve really enjoyed during this time is being able to get more sunshine, whether that means a quick walk around the neighborhood or simply sitting by the window working at our dining room table. I wanted to capture that feeling and bring the outdoors in for this tablescape. It seems so needed, especially these days. To absolutely no one’s surprise, blue and white plays a big role in this one, too.

Our spring items have officially been moved back into our main cabinets. I’ve been so eager to break out the lettuce ware and found this tablescape to be the perfect opportunity! I’ve snagged most of my pieces at HomeGoods, believe it or not. You can also find a good amount on One Kings Lane.

The real stars of this tablescape are the Caspari lettuce ware plates that our friends there sent us. They were the perfect mix-in’s with our porcelain dishes. It was such a fun touch – and a nice break since dealing with fewer dishes is something that never hurt anyone these days.

I used the Caspari dinner plates, then layered one of our Williams Sonoma salad plates on top of them, followed by a Caspari salad/dessert plate, and a lettuce ware bowl. Our Williams Sonoma bread and butter plates, which we mixed in to create our everyday white set, completed the look.

These Waterford candlesticks came together with a few ginger jars to line up the center. Our gorgeous floral centerpiece was made with re-purposed white and green flowers.

I fell in love with cafe style glassware years ago, so was thrilled to come across our water goblets and juice glasses by Pottery Barn back when we were deciding on our everyday essentials. They were so inexpensive (under $5 each) that we just bought them up rather than registering for them. They are sturdy and have gone through lots, including a move, over the years – and we’ve only lost one. Even better? They’re currently on sale: 6 for $38!

They’re sitting happily atop these Caspari Pagoda Toile cocktail napkins I bought in Kiawah Island last fall.

Cheers, friends!

Special thanks to our friends at Caspari for gifting us the lettuce ware paper plates linked and shown in this post. This post may contain affiliate links, but all are tried and true Magnolia Stripes favorites.
