My Top Picks for Celebrating our Nation’s Birthday

It’s officially summer – can you guys believe it? I don’t know how it happened, but July is right around the corner and, with that, comes celebrating the Fourth. If you’re looking for some tabletop inspiration, here’s a peek at last year’s Fourth of July table. And, if you’re wondering how on earth you’re going to feed your entire family or neighborhood, then I’ve got the dinner party theme for you. Check out our lowcountry boil how-to here.

Here are a few of my favorite finds to dress up your tabletop for the holiday:

These festive napkins. Talk about a simple way to mix a little patriotism into your tablescape. Mix these with a good set of white dinnerware and you’re ready to go!

We love these star napkin rings. And, how cute are these red, white, and blue beaded ones?

Anchor your place settings with these chic braided placemats in red and blue. You can see the navy placemats in action in this orange and navy tablescape.

If you’re taking your party on-the-go, look no further than these Scout bags. They’re durable and clean easily with a few swipes of a Lysol wipe.

Heading out to the ballpark, beach, or the lake for the holiday? Be sure and pack one of these can coolers by Smathers and Branson. Their needlepoint items are some of our favorites.

These stars and stripes pinwheels are an easy way to add a little interest to your backyard or kitchen.

What could be more patriotic than mini apple or cherry pies? Emile Henry has the perfect ruffled pie dishes and they come in red, white, and blue. If you’re looking for the bigger version, here it is in red.

Of course, you’ve got to have your bar set up. What better addition to your glasses than patriotic paper straws? These red, white, and blue straws with the pinwheels are too fun.

You can also go classic and mix and match these red striped straws with these blue striped ones.

Here’s the perfect set if you can’t decide.

If you’re looking for a little something extra for your tablescape or you live in an area where sparklers and fireworks aren’t an option, try these crackers by Caspari.
