Around this time of year every year, I always put together warm weather bags to keep in each of our cars. It’s a total gamechanger because there will always be a time that you’ll wish you had paper towels, or bug spray, or someone forgot the sunscreen. I also keep it stocked with bandages and first aid items since summer means loads of outdoor time.
Also, I filmed this while very pregnant, so excuse the slight delay in getting it up online – it’s been a wild few weeks!
It should also go without saying, but this is a collection of what we use and is not intended to be medical advice. I am not a doctor or certified medical professional, so ask yours first!

Here is what we have:

Shop the post here!
Gloves – for extra messy situations
Ziptop bags that slide open and closed – we go through so many of these; they’re crucial and the easy-open makes them easy enough for little hands to grab, too. I also have these reusable clear bags, too. They don’t stick together like others I’ve bought.
Skin and wound spray; this is a more expensive version I also love and keep at home
Itch relief stick – most of these things I’m linking are roll-on, spray, or are sticks. Easy to do with one hand and quickly!
Variety pack of our favorite bandages
Hand sanitizer – I buy these in bulk; love the scent
Clean bug spray – smells so good and clean ingredients; if you’re flying or need a wipe option, here they are in wipe form, too!
Welly on the go first aid kit – perfect to tuck into carry-on’s, diaper bags, and totes
Bug bands – these are amazing and can be reused several times
Sunscreen – lip balm (this is the most like regular chapstick that I’ve found that still has solid SPF); easiest to apply to kids’ faces (also love this one); our choice sunscreen for everyone
Happy summer!!
